Hi everyone,

My name is Carlos, and I’m reaching out because I’m in a tough spot. My computer, which I rely on for coding the Originally.Black App and other business websites in our office, has completely broken down. This isn’t just an inconvenience — it’s a major roadblock stopping me from creating a server to host our web sockets, the very system that will power real-time communication between our community chat and the server.

As a web and program developer, I pushed my old computer as far as it could go. The broken screen and sluggish performance were already daily struggles, and now it won’t even turn on. To continue building Originally.Black; a platform dedicated to uplifting and connecting Black-owned businesses.  I need a reliable computer that can handle heavy development.

The cost of a new Mac mini M4, with the right components to last for years, is £3,400. It’s a big amount, and I can’t cover it alone. But this new computer isn’t just a piece of hardware, it’s the heartbeat that will keep Originally.Black alive and growing.
